About

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Georgia is partnering with Center for Undergraduate Opportunities in a new pilot program to engage students early in research experience. The program bolsters our students curriculum vitae, makes them more competitive in the job market, and allows students to get credit toward a masters degree. The program provides greater access to students and faculty interested in taking advantage of all the opportunities available for undergraduate research at the University of Georgia.

Administered by the Honors Program, CURO has previously required a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the Honors research courses it has offered. Under this new partnership, access will be extended to students whose GPA may fall below that minimum. The program is open to both honors and non-honors students and early enrollment is encouraged.
